To improve the overall health and wellness of the City of Warsaw by assisting emergency personnel with response to mental health crises, connecting individuals to community resources and social services, and offering services to prevent emergencies. 

What is CARES?

The Community Assistance Resources & Emergency Services (C.A.R.E.S.) program addresses those suffering a mental health crisis, assists those who are having issues acquiring or reconciling medications, and aid in getting appropriate medical care.  

Continual services are also provided for:

  • Mental health safety planning
  • Fall prevention
  • Referrals and connection to housing, food, clothing, financial assistance, substance use treatment, transportation, grief support and more!
