TABLE RENTALS

We offer a few extras that may make your next event, gathering, party, or reunion a little easier! Below are items that can be rented from the Parks Department during our summer season that runs from April 15 to October 1 annually. The Parks Office can help you with a rental Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and can be reached by calling (574) 372-9554 ext. 604. The office does close daily from 1:00-1:30 PM for lunch.

Extra picnic tables are available to rent alongside your picnic shelter or cabin rental in all parks except for Central Park. Picnic tables are also able to be reserved in Municipal Park by the beach at Center Lake. Tables are $5.00 plus tax per table. 

These tables must be reserved and paid for a minimum of 48 hours before the date you need them. They will be clearly marked with a reservation tag, ready for your use.

Delivered Picnic Tables & Sawhorse (Garage Sale) Tables

We offer a table delivery service to residents living within city limits or Wayne Township for picnic tables and sawhorse tables. These deliveries are popular during our summer season! Rental prices listed are for one week, Monday to Monday. Reservations must be made and paid for by the Friday directly preceding the delivery date. For example, tables cannot be rented on Friday for use the next day on Saturday.

The first Monday for deliveries this year will be April 13 and the last Monday we will make deliveries will be on September 21 so that we conclude by October 1.

We use Beacon to determine if an address is within city limits or Wayne Township. No exceptions to our delivery area will be made. We do not permit tables to be delivered to a home in our delivery area and then taken to a location outside of city limits or Wayne Township.

Our lighted sign on Detroit Street is available to rent with a paid facility rental. It can be used to advertise the event your business is holding, say congratulations to a new grad, help direct guests to your wedding location -- there are so many possibilities!

The marquee can be added at any time in the rental process but no later than two weeks before the reservation date. The Parks Department reserves the right to have the final say on any pictures or wording included on the sign.

Rentals cost $18.69 plus tax. Private events run for 3 days and public events run for 7 days, ending on the rental date.
