Beginning sometime in late February, Norfolk Southern railroad will begin replacing railroad crossing warning devices at the following crossings: Pope Street, Winona Avenue, Market Street, Center Street, Main Street, Fort Wayne Street, Lyon Street, Arthur Street.
This railroad project will take approximately 8 months to complete. Work will begin at the southernmost crossings, moving north. Crews may work on more than one crossing at a time, depending on available manpower. Crossings should remain open at most times, with some intermittent lane restrictions and short-term closures.
