Human Resources is responsible for ensuring the staffing needs for the city are met according to local, state, and federal regulations. Human Resources also coordinates the development and administration of personnel policies and procedures that relate to employment and benefits for employee's of the city.
 
Human Resources maintains city personnel records, insurance coverage, workers' compensation and claims, ADAAA, FMLA and OSHA compliance, safety programs, policies and committees.

Human Resource Director also serves as the Safety Officer, Privacy Officer, and ADAAA Administrator for employment.
