Ride-Walk Warsaw-Winona Lake

The Ride+Walk Warsaw+Winona Lake program was developed in January 2012 after combining the efforts of the former Lake City Greenway Committee and the local Bicycle Advisory Committee. There was a unified vision of a cohesive alternative transportation system for both bicyclists and pedestrians in the Warsaw and Winona Lake areas.
The future Ride+Walk Warsaw+Winona Lake transportation system will incorporate greenway paths, on-road bike lanes and markings, improved sidewalk paths, and more. Educational initiatives will be developed to educate not only bicyclists and pedestrians, but also motorists, to create a safe environment for everyone.
The Ride-Walk Warsaw-Winona Lake transportation system will allow for commuting to work, travel to school, recreational use, and connectivity to vital parts of the community.
