Remembering Officer Polston
Sergeant Terry Polston (1952-2008) was most well known for his years as a D.A.R.E. officer in the Warsaw community, loved by thousands of kids. To his D.A.R.E. students, Sergeant Polston was better known as "OP"
(short for Officer Polston).

Sgt. Terry Polston taught the D.A.R.E program in the Warsaw School District to about 350 kids a year for 17 years. If you do the math, that’s nearly 6,000 students with Polston’s imprint. Those who knew him say he was a guy with a huge smile and a heart of gold.
