A new law took effect January 1, 2011, regarding the disposal of electronic waste. The new law prohibits Indiana households, schools and businesses from mixing electronic waste with loads of trash and refuse going to landfills. Indiana Code 13-20.5-10

, at 220 S. Union Street, can recycle all electronics--including computers, computer monitors, printers, cell phones, TVs, DVD players, and other electronics--that have been deemed hazardous and have been banned from normal trash disposal by this new law.
