Junior Golf Tour
Thursday mornings, June 20 & 27 and July 11 & 18
$10 per week or $35 for all 4 weeks (includes 9-hole greens fees)
Register by one week prior to date participating
June 20 - Rozella Ford Golf Club (8:00 tee time, Warsaw)
June 27 - Maxwelton Golf Club (8:00 tee time, Syracuse)
July 11 - Raccoon Run Golf Course (8:00 tee time, Warsaw)
July 18 - Little Big Horn Golf Course (8:00 tee time, Warsaw)
A fun opportunity for area teens ages 10-16 to hit the links and make friends. There will be two age groups: 10-12 and 13-16. Awards will be given for different skill levels each week and overall points earned during the tour. Participants must provide their own clubs.

The Unofficial Hunger Games Skills Program

The Hunger Games has some great survival lessons for all of us. Creek Stewart, owner of the wilderness survival school called Willow Haven Outdoor, will guide teens entering 6th - 12th grades in building a primitive shelter, using an emergency survival blanket, signaling for rescue, taking a wild edible walk, and learning Katniss’ famous twitch-up snare, Rue’s sharp rock, fire tinder, and natural cordage! Sponsored by theWarsaw Community Public Library’s Teen Summer Reading Program.
Fly Fishing Workshops
Beginners Workshops:

Nye Park & Ramsey Shelter
$10 per person

Max. 5 per session
Learn basic fly fishing techniques, casting, how to choose fly rods and fly lines, safety and etiquette, and more! Participants will also join instructor Charlie Ray for basic fly tying, where you’ll learn about basic knots and bugs. Minimum age is 11 and all equipment will be supplied.
Intermediate/Advanced Workshops:
Saturday, September 21 • 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
$10 per person (register by above deadlines - max. 2 per session)
Improve accuracy with special targets and become more proficient with casting in different situations with the guidance of an instructor. Bring your own rod or one will be available. Due to low maximums to maintain high-quality instruction, additional sessions may be added if necessary.
