The Warsaw Housing Authority and Housing Opportunities of Warsaw is now located at 109 W. Catherine Street in Milford (behind the Milford Public Library).  The phone number remains the same: 574-269-7641.  Select ext. 101 for questions concerning the Housing Choice Voucher program. Select ext. 106 for questions concerning homeownership rehab programs.

Office hours are: Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm  and  1:00 to 4:30 pm on Thursday.  The office remains open during the lunch hour.

Assistance Programs
The Warsaw Housing Authority (WHA) offers the following housing assistance programs:
  • Family Self-Sufficiency programs - Offers case management services to families to become self-sufficient from assistance programs by setting goals and a plan of action to achieve economic independence through training and education  
  • Good Housekeeping award program - Offers coupon award packets to Section 8 families with good housekeeping skills
  • Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program - Offers financial assistance for the rent and utilities of very low-income families
  • WHA offers a variety of brochures - Landlord / Tenant Relations, housing discrimination, and lead-based paint
